Product Details
LL-37 is the only human member of the cathelicidin family of antimicrobial peptides. It is widely studied as a model compound for innate immunity, host-defense biology, and wound-healing research.
Mechanism of Action. LL-37 disrupts microbial membranes, modulates innate immune signaling via FPR2 and other receptors, and influences cytokine release, neutrophil chemotaxis, and angiogenesis at injury sites.
Applications. Antimicrobial peptide research, biofilm-disruption studies, wound-healing investigation, innate-immunity modeling, host-defense pharmacology.
