Storage & Handling

How should I store lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides?

Temperature: Short-term (<3 months) at -20°C; Long-term (>3 months) at -80°C recommended; NOT recommended at room temperature. Environment: Keep desiccated using desiccant packs, protect from light (store in original vial), avoid temperature fluctuations, and keep tightly sealed. Shelf Life: At -20°C typically 2-3 years; at -80°C typically 3-5 years. Always check expiry date on vial label.

How should I store reconstituted peptides?

Storage Temperature: Immediate use (<7 days) at 2-8°C (refrigerator); Medium-term (7-30 days) at 2-8°C; Long-term (>30 days) at -20°C or -80°C in aliquots. Best Practices: Divide into single-use aliquots immediately, avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, use sterile technique for all handling, and label with date of reconstitution.

What solvents should I use for reconstitution?

Recommended options: Bacteriostatic water (recommended), Sterile water for injection, or PBS or other buffers (peptide-specific). Add solvent slowly down the vial side, never directly onto the peptide powder. Gently swirl (do not shake vigorously) until fully dissolved.

What should I do upon receipt of my peptide order?

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs depend on destination, order size, and required shipping speed. Standard shipping is included for orders over a certain threshold. Expedited and overnight shipping options are available at additional cost.

What if I receive a damaged product?

If you receive a damaged product, photograph the packaging and product, and contact support@aetherbio.tech within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement at no additional cost once the damage is verified.

What if the temperature indicator shows excursion during shipping?

If the temperature indicator shows the package exceeded safe temperature, contact us immediately at support@aetherbio.tech. We will arrange a replacement at no cost. Do not use the product.

What if my product appears degraded?

Signs of degradation include discoloration, cloudiness after reconstitution, or unusual odor. Contact our QA team with batch number and photos for evaluation and potential replacement.

I'm having difficulty reconstituting my peptide. What should I do?

Some peptides may take 5-10 minutes to fully dissolve. Add solvent slowly down the vial side, then gently swirl (don't shake). If problems persist, check our reconstitution guide or contact technical support.

What if my international shipment is delayed at customs?

International shipments may be held at customs for inspection or additional documentation. We'll assist with providing necessary paperwork. If held >7 days, we may need to reship with extended cold chain packaging.
