Product Details
KPV (Lys-Pro-Val) is the C-terminal tripeptide of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. Despite its small size, it retains potent anti-inflammatory activity through melanocortin-receptor-dependent and -independent pathways.
Mechanism of Action. KPV downregulates NF-κB signaling, reduces pro-inflammatory cytokine release (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β), and modulates intracellular inflammatory cascades. It is bioactive via oral, subcutaneous, and topical routes.
